Forget separate password management and use Single Sign-On with Okta.
Description
Employees are automatically logged into Sympa using Okta Sign-On (SSO) without password management in Sympa.
The Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration is easy and works as follows:
• Customer’s Okta admin grants SSO concent to Sympa in their Okta Admin Dashboard.
• Sympa enables the Okta access in customer’s Sympa organisation.
Please note:
• Okta SSO using Azure B2C IAM is in currently under development and launched shortly, you can get in touch with us to notify your interest towards this solution and we will contact you once this SSO set-up is available.
• Okta SSO using Azure B2C IAM requires the customer to use the employee’s email address as the UPN.
• The Single Sign-On configuration alone does not include any data transfers between Active Directory or other IdM software.
Pre conditions
The data and data fields to be transferred are already within Sympa. The customer is responsible for reaching an agreement with the provider of the integrated system regarding the implementation of the integration. The successful implementation of any integration requires active participation from both the customer and the provider of the integrated system, or a third party involved.Limitations
The prices quoted do not cover potential third-party expenses, for which the customer will be responsible. Additionally, the implementation fee does not include data imports or further modifications to the customer's Sympa configuration. Should these services be required, a separate estimate will be provided for the additional tasks.
