General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) takes place – what HR-professionals really need to know about it?

The new EU:s people data regulation (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) will transform the principles the data protection and data security issues have been handled within organisations. By May 25th 2018, organisations that handle private European data in the EU need to have fully implemented GDPR. This means quite some changes in the responsibilities HR systems and HR function have.

But what is it that really is changing and what HR should know by know?
