The rapidly growing BW-Restaurants Oy needed a comprehensive HR system to support its operations. “We reached the point where we needed to get all of the information into a single system, covering the entire employment lifecycle from recruitment to the end of employment”, says Tiina Riippi, HR manager of BW-Restaurants Oy.
As the most important criteria for acquiring the system, BW-Restaurants Oy defined usability and adaptability to the changing needs of the organisation. In addition, system integration possibilities and automatic reminders were important and desired properties.
“We selected the Sympa HR system because it met all of our criteria; in addition, Sympa has a good reputation in Finland,” Riippi says.
The new electronic HR system is expected to clarify and ease the work on all organisational levels. “Time savings, a well-functioning recruitment process, electronic storage of information in a single place and reporting functionality were important objectives for us”, Riippi continues.
The implementation project was carried out in good cooperation between Sympa and BW-Restaurants Oy. “We discussed matters on a practical level and did not fall into obscure data processing talk. In addition, actual presence was something that is rarely seen from this kind of supplier”, Riippi adds.
