Location:  Vantaa or Stockholm, some travelling will be required

Sympa HR is the fastest growing HR Solution company in the Nordics and is used in more than 100 countries globally. With our rate of growth showing no sign of slowing, we need a motivated CFO to take the lead on our numbers alongside our Controller, Laura and our CEO, Keijo. At the same time, the new CFO will be responsible for our accounts, and specifically advising us on our future growth plans.

As CFO at Sympa you will develop our structures for delivering critical growth, financial and operational information and make recommendations on both strategy and operations. You will be joining the group management team and you’ll play an important role in setting our key targets. We’d like you to oversee budgetary planning and costs management in keeping with the company’s strategy, and also when we’re assessing potential acquisitions, and collaborations.

You will play a big part in our friendly but highly motivated team, and will have a vital role in our global growth.

What do we value in our candidates?

The person we are looking has a deep understanding of business development and sales. You’d preferably have senior experience at a SaaS company, ideally one managing rapid international growth.

Book keeping skills alone won’t help you to help Sympa succeed. We’re also looking for:

  • Business acumen and the ability to grasp the factors that make global growth possible
  • Previous financial experience as CFO, CRO, or Finance Manager or Director
  • Good leadership skills, strong analytical skills and significant experience in a high-growth environment
  • Experience building growth models, in establishing and monitoring growth KPIs and (ideally) in SaaS-metrics
  • Experience of developing and improving financial processes in a growth enterprise context
  • Fluency in English, Finnish and preferably also in Swedish.
  • Great people skills – you are awesome with people of all backgrounds
  • Fun to work with. We need you to take our finances seriously, but not necessarily yourself.
