Indeed, the whole Human Resources community finds itself playing an increasingly critical role in the success of their organisations.
The Sympa that I’m working to build is one that next year, and indeed every year, will keep pace with those changes. It’ll give you, its customers, the tools you need to manage this change in HR and to go further. When HR professionals have the tools that help their people shine, their organisations light up.
So, our mission is to help you do just that. We want to make your working day, week and year smoother. We want to automate as much of the daily HR grind as possible, take it off your desk, so you can focus on people and their development, not on searching for the right information.
If you were to ask me what I want for Christmas I used to think it would be Sympa customers telling me; ‘you’ve helped me do my job better’. Now I’ve come to realise that I’d rather have users barely notice Sympa itself at all – just the results. If you’re aware of your technology, then perhaps the technology needs to try harder. Our mission then is to make it almost invisible, so your entire focus is on your people and their development – the area where, with your skills, you can really work wonders.
It’s nice to have grown a business from the kitchen table to international success. It’s even better to know you’re making a positive difference. So, here’s my Christmas and New Year wish for us all; may we all become better versions of ourselves, may we all help others on the same journey, may we all look back on 2019 and say, ‘I made a difference for the good.’
Next year and, I hope, every year, we’ll be here for you as you do that.
